Yes, learning that your parents are going to say NO, is just a big fat rite of passage for the kids. Glad to hear that the Weasley's are living up to their assumed character traits. I wish I could give you some chocolate. Or tequila. Or both. Though maybe not at the same time, that doesn't sound good.

It's hard doing it all. Give yourself permission to put yourself first though - you need to do that for yourself, to make yourself better - for your family. And being in daycare all day will be good for Kaylee, though I know she's doing her best to make you feel guilty. Remind yourself that the breakdowns she's having could be happening even if she wasn't in daycare everyday - maybe it's just what she's going through right now.

Hang in there ... this too shall pass. To some people, everyone else's problems/decisions seem so incredibly easy. I'm guessing her own? Not so much. For what it's worth, I would have done the same thing. I would never have been able to be any sort of a mom with all that school work and the pressure to compartmentalize all the different roles I'd have to split myself between would have caused a major implosion for me and my family. Sounds to me like you gauged the situation and made the best decision for YOUR family. Good on you.
